Sundström - SR 592 Welding shield with air channel

Welding Shield SR 592 is designed to provide protection during arc welding, including MIG, MAG, TIG welding, and plasma cutting.

The shield protects the welder’s eyes, head, and neck from arc radiation, ambient light sources, and welding spatter.

The SR 592 welding shield is part of Sundström’s powered air-purifying respiratory protection system, used together with the battery-powered fan unit SR 500 or SR 700 and approved filters.

The shield is fitted with an appropriate welding lens and connected via a breathing hose to the battery-powered fan unit.

The filtered air blown into the visor creates positive pressure, preventing contaminated ambient air from reaching the user.

This equipment can be used as an alternative to traditional filter protection in all situations where such protection is recommended — especially during heavy, hot, or prolonged work
